About Megan Clark

I was born in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. My family uprooted just a year later to Northern California, where I was raised and currently reside. In my artwork, I create Gothic-style fantasy pieces, along with my self proclaimed "geek art." I find myself inspired by many amazing tattooists and artists all around the world. The most common theme throughout my work is duality. I enjoy taking one subject matter and mixing it up with a contradictory twist. I also find it interesting to take a popular image and recreate it in my own vision. I entered artistry with graphite and charcoal sketching to begin with, and slowly ventured into painting with both acrylics and oils in the past few years. Constantly attempting to vary my skills, I am currently experimenting with Indian ink and prismacolor markers.
